Alright, I’m just gonna say it.... anime is so overrated it hurts. Y’all act like it’s some profound masterpiece, but it’s mostly just the same old junk repackaged. Cartoons are way better, and heres why. I’m breaking it down into points so you can keep up:

Storytelling is weak af: Anime drags EVERYTHING out. Like, Naruto takes 200 episodes to say what Avatar: The Last Airbender does in 20. Cartoons get to the point, have real character growth, and don’t bore you with filler episodes that go nowhere....

Anime fans are cringe: Sorry, but anime watchers are just... ugh. They act like they’re part of some elite club, obsessing over waifus and screaming about “sub vs dub” like it’s a personality trait. Cartoon fans just enjoy their shows without making it their whole identity. Y’all need to chill.

Art style is lazy: Every anime character looks like they came from the same mold big sparkly eyes, spiky hair, samey faces. Cartoons like SpongeBob or Advenure Time have unique vibes that actually stand out. Anime’s trying too hard to be “epic” while cartoons just have fun.

Plots are predictable: Anime’s all about the same tropes loud protag, edgy rival, pointless love triangle. Cartoons mix it up and take risks. Compare One Piece’s endless pirate fetch quests to Gravity Falls and it’s mystery vibes. No contest.
