I see people making fun of cartoons in memes and it’s an insult to anime but come on man they made our childhood so much better especially us indoor kids who won’t like to go outside and sure compared to anime cartoons are goofy and mostly focuses on comedy still there are times when they hit us with real emotional and life lessons. Then again it’s just my personal opinion, maybe because i grew up watching them, but i just want to state the obvious and just so you know unlike us Japanese people don’t actually differ anime and cartoon as two separate things, for them anime is just a term for any animated series.
