I know this post is going to anger some people but I have to say it : Manwha is SO much better than manga. I've been reading both for many years but recently I feel that manwha is a lot more superior to manga

Firstly, the art in manwha is peak. The full color panels are gorgeous and every page feels like a painting, and you can just feel the effort the artists put in. Manga’s BW style is cool and all, but it’s just not as vibrant as manwha, also why will anyone want to see BW art in 2025 🥀

Also the stories in manwha are way more gripping. They don’t drag on forever like some manga do. Manwha gets to the point, and the plots are so creative. The older mangas did have a good plot and story, but most new gen mangas are trash, teh keep recycling the same old tropes again and again.

The only reason I can think of for someone to read manga is a) Complete a story of an unfinished anime b) Read the manga after watching an anime to better understand the story. Otherwise I think there is no benefit of reading manga in 2025, it's better to just watch the anime and read all those epic manwhas
