Parents logic that we would never understand

1:
I leave for shopping, my child is gaming on the phone.
I come back, still gaming.
I assume they’ve been playing nonstop since I left.
I get angry.

2:
I leave for shopping, my child is “doing homework.”
I come back, still “doing homework,” but I know they just started pretending when I left.
I get angry.

3:
I leave for shopping, they’re doing homework.
I come back, they’re gaming. They started playing the moment I stepped out.
I get angry.

4:
I leave for shopping, and they’re doing homework.
I come back, and they’re still “doing homework”, but I know they closed the book the second I left and opened it again when I was approaching.
I get angry.
