Which new anime are you most excited for in 2026?

With just a few days until 2026, I'm curious which debuting anime (i.e. no sequel seasons like Bleach or JoJo) people are looking forward to in the coming year. Here's my personal top 10 in random order:

1. Psyren: A long-awaited adaptation for an overlooked Big Three-era Shonen Jump classic.
2. Liar Game: Also been a long time coming (finished in 2015). It's one of the best psychological seinen manga, but quite dialogue-heavy, so I'm curious how they'll handle it.
3. Sparks of Tomorrow: KyoAni's legacy project that we didn't know the status of after the tragic 2019 arson attack. The fact this even still exists is a miracle.
4. Daemons of the Shadow Realm: I have high hopes for this series as it's by the legendary mangaka of FMA, Hiromu Arakawa herself.
5. Witch Hat Atelier: Very popular fantasy manga, interested to see if it lives up to the hype.
6. The Darwin Incident: It has a ******* humanzee. Enough said.
7. Akane-banashi: I haven't read it myself yet, but the elite creative talent should help the rakugo performances shine.
8. Kaya-chan isn't Scary: A unique blend of horror and comedy featuring a ghost-punching kindergartener, by the same director as Dark Gathering.
9. Kusunoki's Garden of Gods: I've heard this is similar to Natsume's Book of Friends, so it'll be perfect for fans of cosy anime.
10. The Keeper of the Camphor Tree: The first of acclaimed author Keigo Higashino's works to be animated.
HM. Sentenced to Be a Hero: From the title alone, it seems like an interesting premise for a dark fantasy.

P.S. Sorry if this format looks ugly.
