Mine fav anime is aot , so here are the two details that blown my mind : 1. Connecting 1st ep and last ep (foreshadowing/ insane detail) When eren woke in the first episode under the tree saying "I feel like I was watching a long dream" and Mikasa ask him " why are you crying" and later in first ep eren ask Mikasa " why are your hair is so long?" Which was asked in manga just after eren woke up under the tree to Mikasa which implies that eren ws sending memories to small eren to make sure the canon events will happen and it will eventually cause his own death and free ymir from her curse. Eren asked Mikasa " why her hair is so long" because when eren was cutted down and killed by Mikasa. Her hair was short in the end and of course it was very tragic for eren to be killed by her beloved, so that why eren was crying in the first ep and asked Mikasa about her hair. 2. Connect ending song 1 and ending song 7 ( parallels) The first ending song of Attack on Titan, where Mikasa is standing in the garden of knives. This scene signifies : Mikasa, the person who loved Eren the most, is the one who must kill him to stop his destructive path and free him from the suffering he brought upon the world. The knives symbolize the pain and sacrifice Mikasa faces as she carries out this tragic act. Their was a literal line in the first ed (go and check it out) -" now, sleep/rest in peace" from the song reflects Mikasa’s final farewell to Eren — it’s her way of saying that he can finally rest after everything he went through. In contrast, the seventh ending song shows Eren standing in the garden of flowers, representing the peace and freedom he finds only in death. The flowers symbolize the release from the torment and violence he experienced throughout his life. The difference between these two gardens highlights the irony of their roles: Mikasa, who loved him so deeply, is the one who must end his life, while Eren, who fought for freedom his entire life, only achieves it in death.

So i just finished AOT and there are quite a few things i couldn't understand like: 1. why did founder ymir listened to Eren instead of zeke 2. why the one ymir waiting for was mikasa 3. i get that headaches of mikasa were due to ymir messing with her head but what exactly was she trying to find 4. at the end when power of titans was vanished from the world was it because Eren used the power of founding titan to do so or was it somehow related to mikasa killing Eren as Ymir also killed the first king 5. also the reason ymir listened to the royal family for 2000 years was it because of her love for king which i find unlikely since she killed him for her children so i guess it was due to her motherly love but if so then why did she only listen to the royal family and not the other childrens These are the things i couldn't understand and will be thankful if somebody could explain
