Okay so for people who don't know toei (animation studio of one piece) just announced that from January one piece is going on a 3 month break and in April when it will return it's gonna come back as a seasonal anime with MAX 26 episodes a year and also said there might be some surprises in those breaks Now what I think it's a positive move even though it might not fully resolve pacing problems and gap problems with the manga, but this might improve it especially talented directors toei got, also we might get some extra things all the fans demanded like cover stories, more fan letter stuff, maybe even a god valley movie adaptation which was not looking possible with the past schedule but now I have hopes Of course there's still some things that may wrong like if Oda take longer breaks too (which he deserves) the anime can still catch up but that can be resolved with much lesser episodes coz they said MAX 26 episodes that's not guaranteed amount But I think I'm actually happy and hopeful about this decision because at least for now it feels like good decision, Still era of weekly long running popular shows is finally over and almost everything (at least main stream) is now seasonal and I think it's for the better What are your opinions on this? would love to know

One Piece anime is going on a 3-month break again. Personally, I’m happy about it. We all know One Piece’s pacing is really bad, if they speed it up, they’ll catch up to the manga and run out of material. That’s why I think these breaks are necessary. If they take a 5-6 month break after every arc, we’ll get to see the anime with better pacing and animation, and Oda-sensei will also have less pressure.

blood war and og bleach have the problem that, the author tried to make us care the same amount about side cast and side stories the same amount as the main cast and main story, and now that im looking back at black clover because i watched it before watching bleach, i can see that black clover was just not lucky like at all with the anime adaptation, it has the some of the worst animation and ost ive seen in anime, of course excluding the opening and ending songs which are some of the op and ed songs in of all time, and yeah i came to conclusion that black clover really fixed that problem that bleach has, not in a huge amount but still the black clover author did really well, so now that we also gotten the 2023 movie of black clover, that has good animation and good ost, WE ONLY NEED to fix the repetitive dialogue and black clover will have a peak adaptation :)
