I'm not sure why so many people are criticizing this anime. Personally, I think it's quite good—better than some shows that focus solely on overpowered characters, constant battles, and endless filler episodes. The storyline progresses smoothly, and I'd rate it a solid 9/10. I genuinely enjoy it because of its calm, peaceful vibe and relaxing animation. There are no irritating characters constantly talking, and the main character is refreshingly mature. Let's just hope nothing bad happens to that girl from the shop—like what happened to Mosuke's wife.

i dont care what other people say this anime is very well written and they should atleast give this a try

Would be more surprising if she didn't die. Not like I want her to, but based on seeing most good characters die, one of these guys is dying HORRIBLY.

D*mn... Underrated, huh... Well, (from below) you didn't like Scum's Wish... SO probably not so into gritty realism (at least in romance)... Well, in case you haven't yet... "Raven of the Inner Palace" a magical woman recluse opens up and makes friends through adventure... "Odd Taxi" starts out a little weird, with anthro animals, but unravels both a secret criminal plot AND that it's not another "d*mn furries" thing... "Box of Goblins" is a girl hunting a serial killer... "Guardian of the Wind" unravels a treasure hunt and train heist mystery {bit of a reference to "Yojimbo" if you're familiar}... "Beautiful Bones" a kid meets and gets fascinated by a lady anthropologist solving mysteries... "Henzemi" kind of satirical take on a class about fetishes and eroticism, more actually funny ecchi than twisted... "Angels of Death" is wholesome romantic for a psychopath... so you know... "Mysterious Girlfriend X" a little "yeesh" but legitimately GOOD story... hope this might help...
